MGMT “Kids” Project
This pack contains my remake of MGMT’s Kids, as featured in my MGMT Kids Synth Sounds article posted in 2023.
I previously touched on this song in an old Reverb.com guest article, but I didn’t recreate all the sounds, nor were they as accurate as I would like. This brand new remake uses the new Arturia Prophet-5 V for all the synths, so you only need one synth to use all the presets I created for the remake. I am very happy with how close it sounds to the original, especially the lead synth.
This is a project that heavily relies on effects; almost every track has some saturation from Soundtoys Decapitator or stereo-widening from iZotope Ozone Imager 2. The Roland Cloud JV-1080 plugin was only used for the short brass fanfare after the bridge synth solo, everything else is from Arturia Prophet-5 V.

All tracks have been frozen so if you’re missing any of the above plugins, you’ll still be able to hear the tracks and play the project. If you own the plugins, you can unfreeze the tracks to edit the sounds.
