Rival Consoles Remake Projects
This pack features the three Rival Consoles remakes that I put together for my Rival Consoles Synth Sounds article in 2023. These are remakes of the following songs:
- Articulation
- Recovery
- Untravel
These Projects are all based around complex synth patches with a large amount of automation and velocity-sensitive MIDI programming that were originally recorded using a DSI Prophet 08 and Rev2, but have here been recreated using Xfer Serum and Arturia OP-Xa V.
The included Ableton Live Projects feature the following tracks:

These Ableton Live Projects require Ableton Live 11 or later and use the following plugins:

- iZotope Ozone Imager 2 (free plugin)
- Soundtoys Decapitator
- Valhalla VintageVerb
- Valhalla Room
- Valhalla Shimmer
All tracks have been frozen so if you’re missing any of the above plugins, you’ll still be able to hear the tracks and play the project. If you own the plugins, you can unfreeze the tracks to edit the sounds.
