With a track count of 45, this is one of the biggest Ableton Live Projects I’ve put together. The recreated synthesizer parts use TAL U-NO-LX to recreate the Roland Juno-106 sounds and the Roland Cloud JV-1080 plugin to recreate the JV-1080 sounds. Arturia Mellotron V is used on two tracks to recreate Mellotron strings heard in the orchestra section and the outro, and I also used Arturia Prophet V3 for the riser sound.
I recorded a total of 9 guitar tracks for this project: 3 layers of the intro chords, which were recorded through a Fuzz Face pedal, 2 guitar tracks for the quiet 2nd verse section, 2 bass tracks (one clean, one with fuzz) and 2 extra guitar tracks. I created the snare sample myself from scratch by layering Drumtraks samples with real drum samples and processing everything through saturation.
