I transcribed most of this project at the same time that I was working on my remake of Eventually, which I used for a separate, earlier article. Like Eventually, a lot of this project was spent combing through Roland JV-1080 sounds to match the sounds heard in the original song. As with all of Tame Impala remakes, the drums required lots of attention; Love/Paranoia has two different drum kit sounds and I created some of the main drum samples from scratch.
I recorded two electric guitar tracks and one bass guitar track for this project, these were tracked through a Kemper Profiler Amp sound with no pedals, and then all effects (delay, chorus, vibrato etc) were added in Ableton Live.
