Every sound in Future Garage was created by Look Mum No Drums using classic drum machines, analog synthesis, and found-object percussion.
Instruments including the Roland TR-808, Korg DDM-110, and Moog Mother-32 were layered and processed to create distinctive, modern drum sounds.
To give the samples a polished, professional finish, the recordings were processed through a selection of vintage analog hardware, including a Studer A812 Mk1 tape machine, a Sony cassette recorder, and a REDD.47-style preamp.
