Solita is a collection of 60 presets for Arturia Pigments and Analog Lab, recreating synth sounds from across Kali Uchis’ discography. From her debut EP Por Vida through to 2024’s Orquídeas, with a strong focus on her breakout album Isolation, this pack traces her evolving sound across R&B, soul, pop, and beyond.
Some of the recreated sounds come from tracks produced by Thundercat, Tame Impala, Tyler the Creator, and Damon Albarn, so it’s a diverse pack blending retro charm with modern polish.
Solita covers a wide range of tones, from funky plucked basses and hard 808s, to woozy keys inspired by vintage Junos and DX-style FM sounds. There are plenty of lead patches for hooks, including clean sine wave leads, plucked leads with attitude, and the occasional psychedelic curveball. A few classic organs also show up, with lo-fi character and slight vintage warble that makes them sit perfectly in dreamy or soulful productions.
All of the presets have been built with Arturia Pigments’ internal effects to match the original tracks as closely as possible, meaning they’re ready to drop straight into a mix without needing extra processing. Every preset includes four macros to give you quick control over tone, movement, or effects, so it’s easy to tweak them to suit your own productions.
If you don’t have Pigments, the same sounds are available in Analog Lab, fully compatible with both Analog Lab Pro and the free Analog Lab Play.
All synth sounds created entirely with Solita presets with no additional effects.
The playthrough video below goes through 15~ Solita presets in Pigments. All the sounds are straight from Pigments with no extra effects added.
To use the Solita presets, you must own either Arturia Pigments or Analog Lab. There is also a free version called Analog Lab Play, which is fully compatible with these presets.
